Mo ElBibany

Mo is part of the investment team at Rising Tide. In 2015, he drove the formation of the Rising Tide Seed Fund, bringing together some of the preeminent tech leaders of the past thirty years and other strategic partners and family offices, as Limited Partners. He manages the Seed Fund, focusing on expanding and leveraging the Silicon Valley ecosystem across incubators, accelerators, universities, corporate partners, angel investors, technical experts, and venture capital funds to: source and identify the most innovative startups; invest in the most competitive deals; help entrepreneurs identify strategic paths to market; and accelerate their growth through business development and strategic partnership, particularly internationally. Mo is a Board Observer at eXo Imaging, a revolutionary company reducing by three orders of magnitude the selling price, size, and power consumption of traditional 3D/4D ultrasound imagers. The company is led by a founding team of serial entrepreneurs who have been a part of 10+ prior exits. Earlier in his career, Mo was Executive Director at TechWadi in Silicon Valley. He drove TechWadi’s rise into the largest network of Arab American high technology executives, with investors representing over $6 billion of investable capital.  Entrepreneurs in the community, have raised over $1.7 billion and provided access to employment to over 70,000 people.  He launched the TechWadi acceleration program in partnership with MIT Enterprise Forum, the Skoll Foundation, and Google for Entrepreneurs, building custom acceleration programs for top MENA startups. He was helped governments enhance their innovation ecosystems building partnership between premier institutions in telecom, media, research, financial services, and economic development to provide venture capital financing, corporate distribution channels, government grants and licenses, and Silicon Valley acceleration for top tech startups looking to expand internationally.
