Portfolio Companies Excelling in Rising Target Markets

It’s been a great year of impact and accomplishments. The Rising Tide team hosted its Annual Meeting in Menlo Park, California that embraced the event theme: Innovate, Imagine, Inspire. Attendees had opportunities to connect with entrepreneurs, family offices, portfolio founders, ecosystem partners, and Rising Tide’s Investment Team. Topics of discussion covered industry developments, fund performance, strategic partnership opportunities, and startup companies’ progress. Portfolio founders shared their areas of expertise and success stories in the following investment themes: Blockchain, Financial Technology, Healthcare and Deep Technology. Over 15 CEOs/Founders elaborated how they are building companies posed for exponential growth. The Rising Tide team elaborated on its investment strategy that is focused on fundamental technology breakthrough and post investment, governance is entirely focused on helping in value creation, business expansion, strategic partnerships, and exits in reasonable time frames. 2019 and beyond carry the promise of continued cooperation, success and advancement for our thriving ecosystem, hopefully to have a larger impact on lives and livelihoods.

Enabling Women to Become Catalysts for Change Far Beyond Their Own Fields

The organization brings together influential women in an inclusive and highly supportive community to provide a platform for thought leadership, to collaborate, and to share resources and stories. By training and connecting diverse women executives from the corporate, public, philanthropic and nonprofit sectors, How Women Lead enables women to become catalysts for change far beyond their own fields. Dr. Ossama Hassanein, Chairman Rising Tide, was a keynote speaker at the San Francisco Annual Breakfast attended by over 600 like-minded advocates. How Women Lead is the Bay Area partner for 2020 Women on Boards, a national effort to increase the percentage of women on U.S. company boards to 20% or greater by 2020.
